Ground Level Extn

Ground Level Track Extension into the Woods

The ground level extension track turns off left from the
left hand main line, swinging up hill between the two trees.

Catch-point siding, for engines that fail on the climb.

A bit further up the line

Looking back down from near the top.

The bridge supports almost finished

Another view over the bridge.
The decking has been cut to size and painted, needs fixing on supports, we will soon be able to walk the whole length of the extension.

Laying down the sheet.

Plenty of head clearance.

Bridge almost complete

Location of the new Top Level Station

Just to prove a 5" loco can climb the incline the wrong way, just approaching the top of the line.

Hady Belle testing out the new line.

Trying the crossing the other way.

Plan of the tracks at Hady, showing the extension towards the bottom of the picture.
