The society is located on the top of Hady Hill, 2/3 mile (1 km) from the town on Bolsover Road, A632. Driving out of Chesterfield, as you get to the top of the steep hill, turn left off the main road into the grounds of St Peter & St Paul School.
Follow the drive around to the left and then take the first right down a drive.
Our site is at the end of the drive, about 200 Mtrs.

The Society aims are to bring together persons from all walks of life who share a common interest in miniature engineering in all its forms.

The excellent facilities at Hady with its tracks for locomotives and there are also areas for traction engines to show their paces. As the land is undulating, both the ground level and raised tracks make challenging driving for all locomotives.

Raised track, catering for 2 1/2", 3 1/2" and 5" gauge locomotives and
Ground level track, catering for 5" and 7 1/4" gauge locomotives.
