"Green Service" at Papplewick Pumping Station 2007

Papplewick Track goes "Green" recycling old track from Hady
1st of three secondhand points (in the foreground) put into the track at Papplewick
to form the start of a loading ramp siding. (03/06/2007)

Looking towards the chimney, this three rail point (7 1/4" & 5") maybe the start of a 5" gauge track at Papplewick !!
The point is not yet working, no operating arm and is welded in the 'main line' position.
The mechanical lift (under the blue cover, again recycled) will be connected to the new siding.
